The championships are a provincially represented event and the Provincial Team represents BC and all athletes in attendance race for their home province. Rowing BC will hold a 2000m time trial on August 28, 2010. The time trial is open to BC athletes wishing to obtain on-water times for selection to the Rowing BC team for National Rowing Championships.

Athletes can qualify for NRCs by submitting BC RADAR ergometer scores, or by achieving on-water RADAR scores at the time trial.
