The regatta site is home to the Delta Deas Rowing Club and is a new initiative of the Rowing BC Masters Committee. The Cascadia Master Regatta is an annual, competitive sprint regatta inviting all masters from rowing clubs in the region, including BC, Alberta, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and California. Five Vancouver lower mainland region rowing clubs are sharing the regatta organization and planning: Burnaby Lake Rowing Club, Deep Cove Rowing Club, Nicomekl Rowing Club, Vancouver Rowing Club and Delta Deas Rowing Club. The regatta has the active support of many of the Delta community organizations such as the Business Improvement Association of Tsawwassen, the Sport Council of Delta, and the Delta Spirit of 2010 Committee.
