Rowing BC will hold a 2000m time trial on August 28, 2010. The time trial is open to BC athletes wishing to obtain on-water times for selection to the Rowing BC team for National Rowing Championships.
Athletes can qualify for NRCs by submitting BC RADAR ergometer scores, or by achieving on-water RADAR scores at the time trial.
Athletes who cannot attend the time trial must submit BC RADAR ergometer scores to be selected for NRCs. Athletes who have not submitted BC RADAR scores must participate in the time trial in order to be eligilbe for selection.
The registration deadline for time trials is August 21, 2010.
Schedule of events:
6:00 AM: Weigh-in (Medical room, Elk Lake Boathouse)
- Weigh-ins will be held in the medical room at the Boathouse.
- No test weigh-ins are available.
- Women 59kg and Men 72.5kg
- Athletes must weigh-in in racing uniform.
7:00 AM: Coach and athlete meeting (UVic Boat Bay, Elk Lake Boathouse)
- Meeting will be held in the UVic boat bay
- Attendance is mandatory for all participants
8:00 AM Racing starts. Order of events:
- Mens 2-
- Mens 1x
- Womens 2-
- Womens 1x
A preliminary start list will be posted prior to race day. Crews are expected to race in club uniforms.
